Deep Expertise in AWS Architecture

  • Designing and scaling secure AWS infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with EC2, RDS, VPC, Security Groups, IAM roles, Load Balancers, etc.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, ECS, and Fargate.
  • Experience with mixed environments (Linux and Windows).

  • Awareness of how to scale solutions across 100+ AWS accounts.

  • Ansible Expertise

  • End-to-end architecture, deployment, and scaling of Ansible in enterprise environments.

  • Writing, maintaining, and executing Ansible Playbooks.
  • Setting up inventory and packaging processes.
  • Knowledge of how to securely manage Ansible (RBAC, Okta integration, credential rotation, etc.).

  • Understanding the blast radius and need for secure multi-tenant architecture.

  • Security & Compliance at Scale

  • Designing systems that meet strict compliance requirements (e.g., no outdated components >30 days).

  • Automating patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance enforcement.
  • Understanding enterprise security posture and integrating recommendations from tools.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and interpreting security scorecards.

Highly Preferred / Bonus Skills

  1. Agentic AI / ML Integration in AWS

  2. Applying AI to automate Ansible processes: inventory updates, packaging, remediation rollouts.

  3. Experience with AWS AI/ML services to reduce manual tasks in configuration management.

  4. Cloud Agnostic Design

  5. While the current platform is AWS-based, the architecture must be designed to eventually support Azure and GCP.

  6. Ansible and Terraform should be implemented with cloud-agnostic best practices.

  7. CI/CD Integration

  8. Working experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and pipeline automation.

  9. Exposure to broader DevOps toolchains is a plus, though GitHub is primary.

  10. Terraform (IaC)

  11. Most infrastructure provisioning is done via Terraform (90%+).

  12. Understanding how Ansible and Terraform co-exist is valuable.
