Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our dynamic HR team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in human resources and a desire to learn about HR systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies on various platforms and managing applications through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Taleo and Workday.
  • Conduct data entry tasks related to employee records and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation and coordinating orientation schedules.
  • Help manage employee engagement initiatives through social media platforms and internal communications.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and preparing reports.
  • Collaborate with team members on various HR projects to improve processes and enhance employee experience.

Skills

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or Workday is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in employee records.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of social media management for internal communications is beneficial.
  • Previous administrative experience will be considered an asset. This internship is an excellent stepping stone for anyone looking to build a career in human resources while contributing positively to our organisation's culture and operations.
