SAP Consultant MCFUWe are looking for an experienced SAP Consultant MCFU to support and optimize the metering, consumption, and fulfillment processes within SAP for utilities or energy sector clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP IS-U modules, utility-specific business processes, and system integration points to ensure seamless operations and project delivery. Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Configure, customize, and support SAP MCFU (Metering, Consumption & Fulfillment) functionalities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to metering, billing, and consumption
  • Provide functional and technical expertise in SAP IS-U, focusing on Metering and Device Management, EDM (Energy Data Management), and Billing
  • Work closely with the development team to implement changes and enhancements
  • Conduct system testing, defect resolution, and support UAT
  • Create and maintain system documentation including functional specifications and process flows
  • Participate in the design and deployment of SAP-based solutions for utility metering and consumption
  • Provide end-user training and ongoing support
  • Collaborate on integration with external systems such as smart meters, AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure), and customer portals

Skills and Qualifications Required :

  • 5 years of experience in SAP IS-U, with a strong focus on MCFU module
  • Hands-on experience in Metering, Consumption, Billing, and Device Management
  • Good understanding of utilities domain processes and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with integration to smart metering systems and real-time consumption data handling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent field

Good-to-Have Skills :- SAP S/4HANA Utilities knowledge- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 for enhanced user experience- Experience with data migration and legacy system integration- Understanding of AMI technologies and IoT integration in utilities
