To strengthen our IT HUB in Bengaluru, we are looking for a Solution Architect to complete our Analytics, Data and Integration (ADI) Department. This position will be part of the Global Business Solution Integration Team, which supports Nestlé markets worldwide through a group of Hubs in different locations that provide support over the broad BSI portfolio.

Position Summary

In this position, you will be accountable for supporting proactively and holistically Enterprise Architecture (EA) activities within the Product Groups and Platforms that fit within the overall EA and meet the product group strategy. As a Solution Architect, you will provide the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of a product or a set of products within a product group. You will work closely with DevOps / development teams and suppliers to secure that the value planned will be delivered in the most optimal way and you will be accountable for supervising the design as well as the integration execution within the scope, owning the solution architecture specification. This is a strategic role, where you would collaborate closely, and mostly in the strategic and tactical complexity layer with BSI Product Lines, BSI Operations, Delivery as well as Strategy and Innovation team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the architecture for a set of products / platforms, ensuring maximum reusability and strategic alignment with product and group roadmaps
• Deliver the architectural design for products and inputs to the roadmap by utilizing knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience in order to translate a business need into a solution blueprint that represents an end-to-end technical solution
• Lead the implementation and integration of technical architecture across a product group based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements
• Identify the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of the solution architecture
• Define and document the guidelines, standards and solution architecture to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision
• Design and direct the governance activities associated with ensuring product architecture assurance and compliance
• Engage with Tech experts, Product Owners,, BAs, Product Managers and EA within (and across) the product groups to ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture

Required Profile

• Bachelor's degree in business or computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience working as a Senior Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect and delivering architecture responsibilities on business/IT projects
• 8+ years of experience in application integration, data integration and agile methodologies that leverage APIs.
• Must have experience in IT solution development disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, database management or operations.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP (PO/ PI, CPI/CI) and API integrations (Mulesoft/ SAP APIM),
• Knowledge and experience with SAP Business Object Data Services (SAP BODS)/ ETL
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure applications
• Knowledge and/ or product experience with Event Driven integrations (Confluent/ Kafka/ ASAPIO)
• Knowledge and good expertise in applying solution integration patterns that cover application, data and API led design concepts enabling transaction flow for scenarios such as application to application (A2A), business to business (B2B), event driven (B2C, etc) or data flow for scenarios such as data migration, replication, test data provisioning and master data sync.
• Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
• Ability to understand and communicate the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
• Excellent understanding of application development methodologies & infrastructure and network architecture
• Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements
• Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
• Experiences working in a global environment, with virtual teams and outsourced entities
• Curious about new technology, willingness to experiment
• Effectively communicates in English at different levels in the organization
