Purpose of the role

The End User Computing Lead Architect will be responsible for defining the global vision and strategy and developing a future roadmap in alignment with the General Mills & D&T objectives.

Working in consultation with key business stakeholders, globally managing the end-to-end lifecycle of End Point Computing like OSD Imaging, Intune, SCCM etc.

Serve as champion for Digital Workplace productivity tools in a transformational and geographically diverse corporate environment. Encourage and help facilitate the adoption of new ways of working in End Point Computing.

As a trusted advisor for the business, Lead Architect works closely with the operations manager and other members of the delivery team. Create road maps, new trends and how that could be applied to business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Architect, Design and Evaluate blueprint for Microsoft SCCM, OSD Imaging, Application packaging & deployment.

• Hands-on knowledge on OSD Imaging Task sequences, Autopilot, Driver management, SCCM troubleshooting & infrastructure management, Scripting & Automation (Power shell), Intune etc.

• Experience in Windows server management and troubleshooting

• Partner with stakeholders to define Roadmap and Strategies around various EUC technologies.

• Designing complex EUC solutions, leading work-streams on transformational programs and ensuring conformance to agreed design standards, methods, and tools, including prototyping new tools and applications where appropriate.

• Shaping EUC technical proposals whilst making solution/service trade-offs where appropriate and providing support to our operations team.

• Establish Windows patch management strategies & guidelines in partnership with stakeholders.

• Provide guidelines & improvements for existing OSD Imaging process & define future roadmap for the same.

• Responsible for researching and streamlining automate deployment, provisioning, policy management, application packaging, deployments, and updates.

• Provide Technical and Operational Governance across the End User Computing environment.

• Work with other technology groups to streamline effective processes and drive continuous improvement for infrastructure, services, and support.

• Interact with vendors (Microsoft) on planning & implementing solutions.

• Resolution ownership of technical challenges for SCCM, OSD Imaging, Intune and Application Packaging projects.

• Create and maintain project related documentation (Business Requirement, Statement of Work, Proof of concept, technical design etc.)

• Review of incidents and root cause analysis, ensure appropriate documentation is in place and updated with latest version.

• Extensive experience in designing & implementing IT strategy, leading teams for successful project implementation while ensuring high-quality customer experience, elevating customer satisfaction in line with SLAs and work processes. Problem solver with a passion for technology; skilled in grasping the big picture, conceptualizing & implementing solutions and partnering closely with leaders & stakeholders

• Envision and strategize the technology roadmap for specific technology / product

• Keep abreast of developments within the IT Industry and help organization be in line with defined or emerging industry standards

• Provide the highest level of escalation support, investigate and resolve complex user issues / escalations

• Provide customized solutions based on business requirements within the scope of the product design, planning of Technical Designs and RACI

• Participates in compliance and security reviews as necessary including working closely with internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability

• Identifying new process improvements & automation opportunities, requirement gathering from stakeholders

• Retention policies, data governance reports and dashboards, Information holds, import data in the Security and Compliance Center, manage inactive mailboxes

• Working experience in agile methodology, scrum to drive & deliver the projects in sprints, documentation of work or process & compliance

MUST HAVE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in SCCM infrastructure administration, application packaging & deployment and endpoint patch management using SCCM.
• Experience on Intune integration with on premise SCCM environment to optimize hybrid solution.
• Thorough understanding OSD Imaging, Autopilot & Intune, Windows upgrades, PowerShell scripting & SSRS
• Multinational Corporation PC support experience.
• Experienced at designing reports / Dashboards from SCCM and Intune.
• Beyondtrust expertise of encryption model and troubleshooting skills
