Job Title: Trainer - English & Soft Skills

Job Location: Tenali, Andhra Pradesh

Job Description:

The Trainer will be responsible for delivering engaging and impactful sessions in English communication and soft skills for candidates enrolled under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDUGKY). The role focuses on enhancing trainees' employability by developing their spoken English, workplace readiness, personality development, and professional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training sessions in English Communication, Soft Skills, Personality Development, and Workplace Readiness as per DDUGKY guidelines.
  • Conduct interactive classroom activities, role plays, group discussions, and mock interviews to enhance learning.
  • Support trainees in building confidence, presentation skills, time management, and teamwork.
  • Assess trainees' progress through assignments, tests, and practical evaluations.
  • Maintain training records, session plans, and progress reports as required by DDUGKY.
  • Coordinate with domain trainers to integrate employability skills with technical training.
  • Mentor and counsel trainees on behavioral and workplace challenges.
  • Ensure 100% mobilization-to-placement linkage by preparing candidates for interviews and workplace culture.
  • Participate in TOTs (Training of Trainers) and continuous professional development activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Graduate / Post-Graduate in English / Arts / Humanities / Management / Psychology / Communication (or relevant field).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in training English/Soft Skills; experience in skill development projects (DDUGKY, PMKVY, CSR projects) preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
  • Ability to motivate and mentor rural youth with empathy.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Online Training Tools).
