Job Summary

Universal Hydro Structures Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a skilled Draughtsman with strong experience in AutoCAD 2D & 3D drafting for civil structures (barrages, dams, spillways, rafts, piers) and hydro-mechanical components (HM gates, hoists, embedded parts, guides). The role requires excellent detailing skills and the ability to convert engineering inputs into accurate drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed 2D plans, sections, elevations for barrages, dams, spillways, foundations, and structural components.
  • Develop 3D AutoCAD models for civil and hydro-mechanical elements.
  • Create fabrication and machining drawings for HM gates, hoist parts, embedded components, and guides.
  • Interpret sketches, site inputs, engineering instructions, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure accurate dimensioning, scaling, line-weight standards, and drawing consistency.
  • Maintain drawing records, layers, revisions, and proper documentation.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / ITI Draftsman (Civil or Mechanical).
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) or similar drafting software.
  • Good knowledge of GA drawings, sectional drafting, tolerances, welding symbols, and fabrication detailing.
  • Ability to work on both civil structural and mechanical assembly drawings.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience with barrage/dam drawings.
  • Experience with hydro-mechanical gates and hydraulic structures.
  • Basic understanding of civil or hydro-mechanical design concepts.
