Jr. Architect

A Junior Architect supports the architectural team in designing, planning, and coordinating building projects. The role involves preparing drawings, assisting in site supervision, and ensuring that designs meet client requirements, building codes, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities1. Design & Drafting
- Prepare concept designs, layout plans, 2D/3D drawings, and presentation boards.
- Work on AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion or other design software.
- Assist in preparing working drawings, detail drawings, and architectural blueprints.
2. Project Coordination
- Collaborate with senior architects, contractors, and consultants.
- Support in preparing BOQs, material specifications, and project documentation.
- Help in coordinating architecture with structural, MEP, and interior teams.
3. Site Work
- Visit project sites to monitor progress and ensure design implementation.
- Assist in site measurements, quality checks, and preparing site reports.
4. Client Interaction
- Participate in client meetings to understand requirements.
- Help in creating design presentations for client approval.
5. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all drawings follow building codes, bye-laws, and safety standards.
- Maintain accuracy in documentation and revisions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of architectural drafting and design software:
- AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop
Understanding of Vastu / Building Regulations / NBC (optional based on company).
Good visualization and creative design ability.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Basic project management knowledge.Qualifications
B.Arch / Diploma in Architecture
- 0–2 years experience in architectural design (freshers can apply).
