Position: Domain Tester (Investment Banking / Capital Markets)

About the Client:

Our client is a leading global investment banking firm seeking an experienced Domain Tester to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for testers with strong functional expertise in investment banking and capital markets, especially in trading domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Functional, Manual, and Regression Testing for trading and capital market applications.
  • Write comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business and technical requirements.
  • Execute test cases and analyze test results to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams, participate in sprint planning, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report issues and suggest improvements.
  • Proactively learn new concepts and technologies relevant to capital markets.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other testers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience (48 years) in manual testing within investment banking or capital markets domain.
  • Deep knowledge of Trading, Trade Lifecycle, Equity, Derivatives, Futures, Options, Swaps, Wealth Management, Corporate Actions, and related financial instruments.
  • Hands-on experience with functional and regression testing.
  • Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpretation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently take ownership of tasks.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn new domain concepts and testing methodologies.
