Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years
    of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in
    PySpark
    and
    Apache Spark
    .
  • Extensive experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency with
    SQL
    and working knowledge of relational databases (e.g.,
    PostgreSQL, MySQL
    ).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as
    AWS (preferred)
    ,
    Azure
    , or
    Google Cloud
    , especially in managing big data technologies like
    EMR
    ,
    Databricks
    , or equivalent.
  • Experience in data modeling, data partitioning, and schema design.
  • Knowledge of data lake and data warehouse concepts (e.g.,
    Delta Lake, Snowflake, Redshift
    ).
  • Understanding of
    data governance
    ,
    security
    , and
    compliance
    best practices.
