  • Patient Assessment:Conducting thorough patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to understand their overall health and symptoms.
  • Diagnosis:Identifying musculoskeletal issues and somatic dysfunctions that may be affecting the patient's health.
  • Treatment:
  • Performing Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), which involves hands-on techniques like stretching, massage, and manipulation to improve joint mobility and function.
  • Providing patient education on managing their condition, injury prevention, diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes.
  • Referral:Referring patients to other medical specialists for further treatment or diagnostic procedures like X-rays or ultrasound scans.
  • Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and progress notes.
  • Holistic Approach:Applying a patient-centered approach that views the body as an interconnected whole, considering the relationship between the mind, body, and spirit.
