Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. This position requires expertise in automation testing using Playwright and Selenium, with a strong focus on software quality, automation, and innovation. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of our test automation infrastructure, ensuring the high quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation testing frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
  • Ensure automated tests are scalable, reliable, and meet high-quality standards.

Code Quality and Best Practices:

  • Write clean, readable, and well-documented code in Typescript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement coding best practices and standards.

Testing and Validation:

  • Perform thorough testing of software features to identify and report defects.
  • Validate new features and ensure they meet the agreed-upon specifications.

Integration and Deployment:

  • Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for automatic test execution and reporting.
  • Ensure smooth deployment of automated tests in cloud environments.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment on software functionality and testability.
  • Provide timely feedback on the quality of the software to development teams.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Playwright, Selenium, and test automation technologies.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing activities to enhance team capabilities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Typescript and JavaScript.
  • Strong experience in using Playwright and Selenium for automation testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
