Requirements :

- Experience in Progress Database Administration.

- Hands-on experience with OpenEdge V11 (or higher) in a UNIX environment.

- Knowledge of Progress OE installation, upgrades, database creation, and maintenance.

- Familiarity with Progress OE features such as OE Auditing, CDC, AI Management, Replication, and PAS.

- Proficiency in database administration, monitoring, dump and load operations, and performance tuning.

- Understanding of Progress database backup and restoration strategies.

- Exposure to disaster recovery planning and execution.

- Experience with Admin Server, NameServer, AppServer setup, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring.

- Ability to write and manage OS shell/bash scripts.

- Basic knowledge of Progress 4GL.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in Progress version migration and OS migration.

- Familiarity with dump and load methods (sequential, parallel, multithreaded).

- Experience with Type 1 to Type 2 data conversion and performance optimization.
