Responsibilities
Architect & Secure Software:
Conceptualize and design secure, high-performance software solutions within a distributed environment to address business challenges effectively.

AI/ML:
Have very good knowdledge and hands-on expeeince in evergaring AI/ML technologie sin the software building.

Microservices Development:
Craft fault-tolerant and scalable event-driven microservices using Python and Golang (willingness to learn either language is essential).

Cloud Deployment:
Deploy your software efficiently on the AWS cloud within Docker containers through an automated CI/CD pipeline.

Serverless Expertise:
Design and implement serverless computing solutions, leveraging AWS Lambda for event-driven processing.

Alerting & Monitoring:
Develop robust alerting and monitoring systems for the software you create, ensuring proactive issue identification and resolution.

API Design:
Design APIs following best practices in REST architecture, enabling seamless integration.

Technical Documentation:
Thoroughly document the technical implementation design of the software you develop for clarity and reference.

Database Query Optimization:
Craft high-performing database queries for data retrieval, updates, and insertion.

Technical Leadership:
Lead technical design discussions, taking ownership to drive progress and ensure alignment.

Mentorship:
Coach junior engineers, facilitating their success and growth in their roles.

Knowledge Sharing:
Engage in podcasts, webinars, and technical discussions within and outside the company, sharing valuable insights.

Engineering Blog:
Author engineering blog posts to highlight innovative engineering achievements and best practices.

Collaboration with Product:
Collaborate closely with Product Managers to translate epics into technical stories, working alongside the Quality Engineering lead.

Toolchain Development:
Create toolchains to enhance software development efficiency and boost developer productivity.

Agile Excellence:
Adhere to Agile Scrum practices for streamlined development and efficient project management.

Requirements
Growth Mindset and Team Player:
The paramount requirement is a growth mindset, coupled with an eagerness to embrace new challenges, take calculated risks, prioritize results, and uphold full accountability for commitments. Being a collaborative team player, fostering positive working relationships, is essential.

Software Development Expertise:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, employing modern methodologies such as Agile, and a deep understanding of software design patterns.

Programming Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of Python and AI/ML are essential.

Asynchronous Systems Mastery:
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in developing asynchronous systems within AWS.

Microservices Expertise:
Experience and knowledge in developing microservices using contemporary backend technologies in a distributed environment.

DevOps Aptitude:
While not mandatory, having substantial knowledge and experience in DevOps is a significant advantage.

Testing Proficiency:
Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) for functional and unit testing.

Technology Flexibility:
We are technology-agnostic and trust our engineers to make informed decisions or rapidly learn new languages and tools. However, having a good working knowledge of some of our current technologies—such as GoLang, Python, TypeScript, Serverless computing (Lambda), Postgres, Redis, React, Redux, Jenkins, Github, Docker, and various AWS resources—is advantageous.

Mentorship Capability:
Previous experience in coaching and guiding junior engineers is valuable.

Entrepreneurial Drive:
Exhibit high motivation and an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to identify problems and drive creative solutions while efficiently marshaling resources.
