We are seeking a highly skilled Graphics Team Lead to join our dynamic team at GemsNY IT Solutions. As the Graphics Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of graphic designers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality graphic design assignments. This is a senior-level position, requiring 6 years of experience in graphic design.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of graphic designers, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and productivity
• Plan, prioritize, and assign design projects to team members, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and provide creative solutions that align with brand guidelines
• Create and implement design strategies, ensuring consistency and excellence in all graphic design projects
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design, incorporating innovative ideas into design processes
• Review and provide constructive feedback on team members' designs, ensuring they meet quality standards and brand guidelines
• Coordinate with external vendors and agencies, as needed, to support design requirements
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Contribute to the development and improvement of design processes and workflows

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree, Graphic design course is a must
• 5 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout design
• Experience working with web and print design, including knowledge of responsive design principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality while meeting tight deadlines
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of jewelry or luxury industry is a plus
