Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Unit HR Head
to lead the Human Resources function at our Ahmedabad Unit. The role requires proven expertise in hospital HR operations, employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance. The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to management and ensure smooth functioning of HR processes aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the HR function for the hospital unit, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies and practices.
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning specific to healthcare requirements.
  • Oversee employee engagement, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws, hospital regulations, and accreditation requirements.
  • Drive training & development programs to upskill hospital staff and improve service standards.
  • Manage payroll inputs, leave & attendance, and employee benefits for the unit.
  • Support performance management processes and career development initiatives.
  • Partner with unit leadership to create a positive work culture aligned with Shalby's values.
  • Liaise with corporate HR on policy implementation and strategic HR initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 8–12 years of HR experience
    with at least
    5 years in hospital/healthcare industry
    .
  • Strong knowledge of hospital HR operations, compliances, and healthcare manpower practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and work effectively with senior management.
