Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned and spiritually mature finance leader to join our mission as a
Finance Controller
. This senior role requires a dedicated professional with over
20 years
of experience in financial administration to lead the organization's overall financial management, ensure compliance, and drive strategic planning to support our global outreach.
The Finance Controller will play a pivotal role in building financial sustainability, managing risks, and enabling data-driven decision-making aligned with the ministry's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and oversee all aspects of the organization's financial administration.
· Manage
budgeting
and
cost control
processes effectively.
· Drive
process and services optimization
within the finance department.
· Develop and implement
fundraising strategies
in collaboration with other departments.
· Perform advanced
analytical skills
for financial performance evaluation and insights.
· Ensure proficiency in and optimal utilization of
finance software
for planning and reporting.
· Oversee
fund and cost forecasting and planning
.
· Develop and execute comprehensive
financial risk planning
and mitigation strategies.
· Generate and present accurate
MIS and reports
for management and stakeholders.
· Ensure strict compliance with all financial regulations, policies, and audit requirements.
·
Qualifications
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
·
20+ years
of demonstrated experience in financial administration, with significant experience in budgeting and cost control.
· Strong alignment with the Christian mission and values of Jesus Calls Ministries (Note: Applicants will be asked if they are a believer in Christ).
· Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
