Reporting to: Supervisor / Senior Engineer.

Essential Qualification: ITI

Experience: 4 - 6 Years in MIG Welding.

SKILLS

· MIG (GMAW) welding proficiency – Skilled in using gas metal welding equipment for different types of metals (e.g., Metal, Steel, Aluminium).

· Blueprint and schematic reading – Ability to interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.

· Welding equipment setup and maintenance – Knowledge of how to calibrate and maintain welding machines, wire feeders, gas tanks, and safety equipment.

· Metal preparation and finishing – Skills in grinding, cutting, beveling, and cleaning metal surfaces before and after welding.

· Measurement tools usage – Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, squares, and measuring tapes to ensure precision.

· Weld inspection and quality control – Ability to visually and mechanically inspect welds for defects like porosity, undercutting, and cracking.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Set up and operate MIG welding equipment and tools.

· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.

· Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using MIG welding techniques.

· Inspect welds for accuracy and quality using measuring tools and visual inspection.

· Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing work as required.

· Ensure all work complies with company safety policies and industry standards.

· Maintain welding equipment and report any malfunctions or needs for repair.

· Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control to meet production goals.

· Keep work areas clean and organized.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
