We are looking for a motivated AI Engineer with solid AWS engineering experience, ideally with exposure to Amazon SageMaker, and a strong comfort level working with data. This role involves developing LLM-based solutions and integrating them into scalable cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be curious, proactive, and capable of creative problem-solving in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI/ML solutions using AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, and S3.
• Build and optimize LLM-based applications, including Prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Embeddings, OCR pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Python-based APIs and workflows using frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate AI capabilities into user-facing applications.
• Work closely with the Version 1 team and client stakeholders to deliver client-facing solutions.
• Proactively seek support and knowledge from the wider team to overcome challenges and improve outcomes.

Required Skills:

• Solid experience with AWS engineering and cloud-native development.
• Proficiency in Python programming, especially for AI/ML applications.
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks and tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Experience in frontend development (React, Angular, or similar).
• Good understanding Cloud AI services and supporting infrastructure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; client-facing experience is ideal.

Nice to Have:

• Background in Machine Learning or hands-on experience with ML model development.
• Experience with OCR technologies and document processing.
• Exposure to ML Ops and model deployment pipelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI/ML or cloud engineering roles.
• Must have a decent level of project experience.
• Demonstrates natural curiosity, is open-minded, and does not rely on task-by-task direction.
• Capable of creative problem-solving and proactive collaboration.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with international teams.
