Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oracle CPQ Implementation & Configuration:
  • Lead the implementation of Oracle CPQ solutions, ensuring the system is configured to meet business requirements for product configuration, pricing, and quoting.
  • Configure and customize Oracle CPQ to reflect business rules, product offerings, pricing models, and workflows.
  • Define and build guided selling processes, product bundles, price lists, discounting rules, and approval workflows.
  1. Customization and Development:
  • Customize Oracle CPQ using advanced features such as CPQ scripting, product rules, pricing rules, and quote templates.
  • Work with Oracle CPQ API and integration tools to connect Oracle CPQ with Salesforce CRM, Oracle ERP, and other enterprise systems.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle CPQ and third-party systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, billing, and finance systems).
  1. Sales Process Optimization:
  • Collaborate with the sales operations and business teams to streamline and automate the sales and quoting processes.
  • Define and implement best practices for CPQ workflows, including quote generation, approval processes, pricing strategy, and contract management.
  • Analyze business requirements to enhance user experience and ensure smooth CPQ adoption across the organization.
  1. Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Perform unit testing and work with the QA team to ensure that Oracle CPQ configurations meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Provide end-user testing and feedback during the implementation process, including validating workflows and ensuring error-free quoting processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to configuration, quoting, and integrations.
  1. User Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to business users and stakeholders on Oracle CPQ functionality, including best practices for using the system.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to Oracle CPQ configurations, processes, and customizations.
  • Assist end-users with troubleshooting issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  1. Continuous Improvement and Optimization:
  • Monitor the system performance, review user feedback, and implement continuous improvements to the Oracle CPQ solution.
  • Recommend and implement new features and enhancements in line with changing business requirements.
  • Keep abreast of new Oracle CPQ features, releases, and best practices to drive improvements and efficiencies in the CPQ process.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Salesforce, ERP, IT, and other business teams to ensure a seamless flow of data across platforms.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to define new CPQ features and provide solutions that improve quoting efficiency, accuracy, and sales velocity.
  • Assist with the rollout of new features, integrations, and updates to ensure smooth adoption by the sales and operations teams.
