About your team

The role is with Revenue Centre of Excellence (COE) and the primarily responsible revolves around providing financial support, analysis and management information to the Board, the Global Operating Committee (GOC) and other senior members of FIL management.

A large proportion of the team's activity is focused on:

  • Continuously striving to make our regular reporting as informative as possible.
  • Supplying valuable analysis to support decision-making at GOC and other senior management meetings.
  • Co-ordinating FIL's quarterly forecast process.
  • Ownership of the Management Reporting Hierarchy.
  • In addition to these group-wide responsibilities, we provide local business finance support to the Chief Financial Officer. This support majorly includes Revenue, sales & Assets reporting, forecasting together with a significant amount of ad hoc analysis.

About your role

Need a highly motivated Individual, who will be managing critical reporting for FIL's senior management , handling day to day data issues and acting upon various ad-hoc requests under tight timeframes. The role is intended to provide an appropriate level of Business Finance support in the monthly reporting, quarterly reporting, forecasting and ad-hoc analysis support.

He/she would have to ensure compliance to all agreed internal and external SLAs and requirements. Shall also be responsible for end to end support on global projects, changes and system enhancements within the agreed timelines. To this end, the individual will perform a variety of tasks including coordinating with various technology teams and stakeholders, planning and setting out data requirements, summarizing and communicating progress and status.

About you

  • Evaluating revenue structures and budgetary impact of the proposed changes.
  • Tracking implementation progress and reporting back to management.
  • Supporting change-related activities and support required to functional management
  • Supporting change projects across  Revenue COE  & Wider Business Finance team
  • Ability to optimize our business processes and organizational structure to increase business efficiency
  • Ability to liaise with staff, management, and the project team to maximize change efficacy and adoption.
  • Collaborating with management to gather and analyse operational information.
  • Preparing change management strategies to reduce expenses, increase revenue, and maximize efficiency.
  • Provide various ad hoc analyses to the business under challenging time frames.
  • Work closely with the global business finance team in the UK, Europe, Asia and India.
  • Responsible for ensuring all standard deliverables are turned out on time, to consistently high quality, and ensuring ad hoc deliverables are turned out to expectation.
  • Responsible for working in an extended (offshore-onshore) global team model and focusing on CFO goals with input from the functional manager and extended team where required.

Experience and Qualifications Required

Technical/Functional

  • A qualified accountant/MBA with 6 years' experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of SQL and CFP would be an advantage.
  • Good financial analysis skills including knowledge of accounting principles and industry-standard packages
