Consultant-IT Taxation, FDI and Ease of doing Business

Role & responsibilities

  • Consultant will be required to provide high quality inputs in national and international taxation and legal matters in IT Software.
  • Well versed with GST and Direct Taxation matters.
  • Well versed and updated with taxation issues of Digital Economy and potential solutions.
  • legal background well versed with the rules and regulations under companies act, corporate laws, FDI policy and FEMA.
  • Preference will be given to persons with work experience in the relevant field supported by published work/ policy papers/ appraisal etc.
  • Well versed with corporate laws, company finance, labour laws etc to take up the matter of EoDB with concerned authority and resolve them.
  • Collect and Collate relevant IT taxation issues and identify and propose solutions.
  • To coordinate with stakeholders i.e. Industry Associations, State and Central Ministries/Departments.
  • To coordinate and facilitate all meeting, recording discussions, drafting the minutes.
  • Doing policy research, drafting reports and presentations.
  • Seeking and providing inputs on policy matters.

Qualification & Experience:

6-8 yrs experience with

  • Chartered Accountant (Final) Preferred - LLB

Preferred candidate profile:

  • experience of working in taxation matters.
  • experience of working with FDI matters.
  • Knowledge of Corporate laws, company finance, labour laws etc.
  • Experience in working with Government in similar work profile for at least 2 years.
  • Ability to research a topic and prepare report and presentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong command over writing and oral communication skills
