We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements .
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and profit/loss accounts.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed.
  • Manage fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
  • Prepare and file tax reports (sales tax, income tax, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
  • 3–7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in hotel industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
