About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Chief Architect / CTO
to lead technology vision, architecture, and execution for our data-intensive, AI-powered SaaS platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology strategist with deep experience in cloud-native platforms, large-scale data engineering, and machine learning, as well as a proven ability to guide cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the company's technology vision, architecture strategy, and product roadmap.
  • Architect and scale multi-tenant SaaS platforms leveraging AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
  • Lead design and delivery of high-volume data pipelines (streaming and batch) and AI/ML systems (including Generative AI, NLP, and Computer Vision).
  • Ensure system scalability, security, and cost-optimization; drive SOC 2 readiness and data governance.
  • Oversee POCs and new technology evaluations (Distilled LLM, RAG models, advanced NLP pipelines).
  • Mentor and grow high-performing engineering teams; establish architecture review boards, guilds, and best practices.
  • Partner with business leadership to translate market opportunities into scalable, high-impact technical solutions.

Key Requirements

  • Experience:
    15+ years in software engineering, architecture, and leadership, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles (Principal Engineer / Architect / CTO).
  • Technical Leadership:
    Proven ability to manage and mentor cross-functional teams across backend, data, and ML engineering.
  • Architecture Expertise:
    Strong background in system & data architecture, cloud-native platforms, microservices, event-driven design, and multi-tenant SaaS.
  • AI/ML Skills:
    Hands-on experience with ML/Gen-AI, NLP, computer vision, and model deployment at scale.
  • Cloud & DevOps:
    Deep experience with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Security & Compliance:
    Familiarity with SOC 2, secure SDLC, IAM, and data privacy best practices.
  • Education:
    Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (MS, BTech, or equivalent). CTO/Technology Leadership certification is a plus.
