Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with EDI & Batch Processing Focus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable EDI and batch processing systems.
  • Lead observability initiatives using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Open Telemetry, etc.
  • Develop automated runbooks and self-healing mechanisms for common operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem processes.
  • Mentor junior SREs and contribute to SRE best practices and culture.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles.
  • Strong experience with following technologies
  • EDI systems (e.g., Sterling Integrator, BizTalk, etc.).
  • Database such an MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Kubernetes, Git, Docker, Linux
  • Spring Boot, HTML 5, Java
  • Proficient in managing large-scale batch processing systems.
  • Expertise in observability tools and telemetry pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting (Python, Bash), automation tools (Ansible, Terraform), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Solid understanding of SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.
