Role & responsibilities

Job description: Placement Coordinator

  1. Act as a point of contact for the assigned college and location.

  2. Coordinate with college to ensure that OJT of all students are assigned and allocated.

  3. Ensure that OJT of all students qualifies the required number of hours/days as mandated in the college and UGC guidelines.

  4. Ensure that all students are aware about the protocols of the company allocated to them.

  5. Build a tracking mechanism for tracking of OJTs of the allocated students from beginning to the OJT completion and college sign-off.

  6. Address and respond to the concerns of the college management.

  7. Once OJT is completed ensure to maintain proper documentation as required for the college and as entailed in the MoU with the company.

  8. Obtain a sign-off from the college for the successful completion of OJT along with attendance and certificate of OJT for all the allocated students.

  9. Prepare a checklist for conformation of all requirements of companies and college and ensure that same is maintained and updated at all times.

  10. Ensure that all students qualify the required number of manhours of training as agreed between the college and our organisation.

  11. Advise students in their preparation to seek employment.

  12. Build a strong relationship with the college to ease their concerns.

  13. Strive to build tie-ups with business associations and forums for enhancing the above Placements.

  14. Initiate and maintain regular contact with various institutions, business associations and corporate houses.

  15. Participate in college and district governance activities.

  16. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qual & Skills:

Any Graduate,experience: min 5 years in related field.

Strong Network with colleges, companies, business houses, associations and such institutions

Good presentability, Marathi fluency, good communication skills.
