AI Engineer Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills

  1. Framework Knowledge

  2. Solid understanding of MCP vs. A2A frameworks.

  3. Ability to differentiate and work with AI agents vs. RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) approaches.

  4. 2) Search & Data Handling

  5. Proficiency in semantic search methodologies.

  6. Experience with vector databases and related libraries, such as Redis VL and Pinecone.

  7. 3) Programming Languages

  8. Strong proficiency in C# and Python.

  9. 4) Prompt Engineering

  10. Understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals and best practices.

  11. 5)AI Model Expertise

  12. Knowledge of transformers, embeddings, and parameter tuning in agentic frameworks.

  13. 6) AI Model ExpertiseI / Chatbots

  14. Hands-on experience with inference, pattern recognition, reasoning, generative AI, and multi-modal capabilities.

  15. 7) Training & Optimization

  16. Experience with fine-tuning, machine learning model training, feedback loops, reinforcement learning, data labeling/tagging, and self-improving systems.

  17. 8) Tool & Platform Familiarity

  18. Proficiency with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, Perplexity, and OpenAI ChatGPT.

  19. Experience working with Amazon Bedrock and/or Google Vertex AI

  20. 9)Automation & Web Development

  21. Experience with website development and automation tools, including n8n, Googles Opal, and Lovable.
