Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with 4-7 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and implement business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating low-code solutions, integrating with Microsoft 365 and other systems, and delivering scalable, user-friendly applications to drive business efficiency.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Power Platform Developer based in Chennai, with some work from home flexibility. The Power Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure the successful deployment of solutions. Daily tasks will include working on custom enterprise builds, integrating systems, and maintaining high standards of code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Development
  : Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps to meet organizational needs.
• Automation
  : Build and optimize automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes and improve productivity.
• Data Visualization
  : Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Integration
  : Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and third-party systems using connectors, APIs, and custom integrations.
• Dataverse Management
  : Design and manage data models, tables, and relationships in Microsoft Dataverse to support scalable solutions.
• Requirements Gathering
  : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Testing and Deployment
  : Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure solutions are deployed effectively with minimal disruption.
• Documentation
  : Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture, user guides, and process flows.

Required Qualifications

• Experience
  : Minimum of 5 years of professional experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse), SharePoint, and Tableau.

Technical Skills
:

• Proficiency in building canvas and model-driven Power Apps.
• Expertise in creating complex workflows with Power Automate, including UI flows and business process flows.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and Tableau for data modeling, DAX, and dashboard/report creation.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse for data management and customization.
• Familiarity with integration techniques using APIs, Azure Logic Apps, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Understanding of Power Platform governance, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and environment management.
• Programming Knowledge
  : Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Power Fx for customizations. Knowledge of C# or .NET is a plus.

Education
: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dynamics 365 customization and integration.
• Knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure DevOps) for extending Power Platform capabilities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
