*Position Overview*

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Functional Consultant to lead the implementation of an ERP solution as a Project Manager. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in ERP implementation, strong accounting knowledge, and a preference for expertise in ERPNext. The role will involve end-to-end project management, client engagement, and hands-on support during implementation. The candidate must be willing to travel to client locations as required.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Project Management:
  • Lead the ERP implementation project, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope and budget.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and address any risks or challenges proactively.
  • Functional Consulting:
  • Analyse client business processes and map them to ERP functionalities.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements based on best practices.
  • Configure the ERP system to meet client requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Accounting Expertise:
  • Utilise strong accounting knowledge to support financial module implementation.
  • Ensure accurate mapping of financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
  • ERPNext Expertise:
  • Leverage prior experience in ERPNext to provide specialized support during the implementation.
  • Customize workflows and modules as needed to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct user training sessions and provide post-implementation support.
  • Ensure clear communication between the client and technical teams.
  • Travel Requirement:
  • Be willing to travel to client locations for on-site implementation, training, and support.

*Qualifications and Experience*

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in ERP implementation, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ERPNext is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal teams effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

*Preferred Skills*

  • Experience with customisation and integration of ERP systems.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with other ERP platforms is an added advantage.
