Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end
    data architectures
    using AWS-native services such as
    Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB

  • Architect and implement
    data lakes
    ,
    data warehouses
    , and
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    following best practices for scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Define and implement
    data governance
    ,
    security
    ,
    access controls
    , and
    data lifecycle management
    in AWS.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies in the AWS ecosystem to improve data infrastructure.
  • Support data modeling, data integration, and metadata management.
  • Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and data flow diagrams to support ongoing development and operations.
