Job Description

THBS is looking for an experienced IoT Edge Developer with strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET, and Python to design, develop, and deploy IoT Edge modules. The role involves building high-performance edge applications, integrating with Azure IoT services, and ensuring seamless data flow between devices and the cloud.

You will work closely with system engineers and cloud architects to deliver scalable and reliable IoT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop IoT Edge modules using C#, .NET, and Python for device data processing and communication.
  • Implement system programming components for device control, data acquisition, and edge analytics.
  • Configure and manage Linux-based edge environments, handling setup, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Integrate with Azure IoT Hub, Azure Functions, and other serverless components to enable event-driven operations.
  • Develop unit and integration tests to validate performance, reliability, and stability of edge modules.
  • Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure secure connectivity and smooth end-to-end integration.
  • Contribute to design discussions and technical reviews to ensure high-quality solution delivery.

  • Design, develop, and maintain IoT Edge modules using C#, .NET, and Python for device-level data processing, control, and communication.
  • Implement efficient, secure, and scalable code to handle real-time data streams and event-driven operations.
  • Develop system-level components for device interaction, data acquisition, and resource management.
  • Integrate edge solutions with Azure IoT Hub, Azure Functions, and other Azure services for seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Work within Linux or Linux variant environments to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot IoT Edge modules.
  • Ensure optimal system performance through monitoring, profiling, and optimization at the edge.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of edge components.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and maintainability.
  • Work closely with cloud architects, system engineers, and QA teams to ensure end-to-end solution quality.
  • Provide technical inputs during design discussions, sprint planning, and troubleshooting sessions.
  • Contribute to documentation of architecture, design patterns, and module interfaces.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and libraries relevant to IoT Edge development.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance edge processing efficiency, security, and reliability.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong programming experience in C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core, and Python.
  • Proficiency in Linux / Linux variants for application deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of Azure IoT Services such as IoT Hub, IoT Edge, and Azure Functions.
  • Experience developing and maintaining edge or embedded systems with data streaming or control logic.
  • Knowledge of API integration, asynchronous programming, and multithreading.
  • Hands-on experience in unit testing, integration testing, and code quality tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
