Role Overview: As an Academic Counselor, you will be at the forefront of guiding students towards international study opportunities. Your responsibilities will span from generating leads and interacting with potential candidates to assisting with visa processing and nurturing relationships with partner institutions. This role offers the chance to influence lives, be a source of valuable information, and help students take their educational aspirations beyond borders. Responsibilities:
  • Drive footfalls, applicants, and university deposit payments through various channels including telemarketing, counseling sessions, events, and school/college visits.
  • Identify, recruit, and enroll prospective students in designated courses, providing comprehensive information about international study options, application processes, visa procedures, and work opportunities.
  • Establish and foster relationships with educational institutions to source student databases and engage with students directly.
  • Conduct informational sessions on "International Study and Work Opportunities" to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate processing of applications.
  • Assist in promoting partner institutions through lead generation, telemarketing, follow-ups, and counseling sessions.
  • Stay updated on market trends, student preferences, and industry feedback to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Maintain student records, facilitate timely follow-ups, and ensure smooth offer delivery.
  • Undertake outstation counseling sessions when required.
Requirements:
  • 2 - 8 years of experience in Study Abroad Education or Immigration Consultation.
  • Familiarity with U.K, U.S, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or other countries' education systems.
  • Proven track record of success in target-driven environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
  • Team player with the drive for independent, self-motivated work.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Open-minded, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach.
  • Proficiency in using internal software systems.
