Your role
Do you have a proven track record of building Lending applications? Are you confident at iteratively refining user requirements and removing any ambiguity? Do you want to design and build best-in-class, enterprise scale applications using the latest technologies?

We're looking for a Java Engineer to:

• design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
• analyze business requirements for the Lending Crew
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
• build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues

Your team
You'll be working in the Lending Crew, as part of the Technology division in Pune. We provide our Financial Advisors and Credit Risk Officers with a wide range of technical solutions to support their businesses and improve our clients experience. As a Java Engineer, you'll play an important role in building the next wave of our strategic Lending Target Architecture.

Your expertise

• ideally 8+ years of experience building enterprise grade back-end services and APIs using Java
• proficient with Java, Spring Framework, and various data stores
• familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• UI development skills – ReactJs, Angular, JavaScript, NodeJS
• experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), containerization and orchestration tools, and security best practices
• interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
• strong communicator, technical writer, and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
