About the opportunity
We are hiring an organized, proactive Computer Operator to manage routine data entry, scanning, print/fax operations, and basic desktop support at our on-site facility in India. The role suits candidates who deliver accurate work under time constraints, follow SOPs, and keep operational systems running smoothly.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry and verification into CRM/ERP/spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and adherence to format standards.
  • Operate and maintain printers, scanners, and multi-function devices—manage batch scanning, indexing, and digital file organization.
  • Execute routine system operations: backups, file transfers, user account tasks, and print job management to keep workflows uninterrupted.
  • Provide first-level desktop support: troubleshoot common Windows issues, network connectivity basics, and escalate hardware/software faults with clear documentation.
  • Follow SOPs for document handling, confidentiality, and data security; complete logs and shift handovers accurately.
  • Monitor consumables and equipment status; coordinate with vendors/IT team for repairs and replacements.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in computer applications is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a computer operator/data entry operator or in office IT support (1+ years preferred).
  • Strong typing speed with high accuracy; advanced Excel basics (sorting, filters) and MS Word proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, basic troubleshooting, printers, scanners, and network basics.

Preferred

  • Experience with document management systems, ticketing tools, or ERP/CRM platforms.
  • Shift flexibility, good communication skills, and strong attention to detail for high-volume environments.
