Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer with expertise in Autodesk Inventor 2025 to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Create detailed designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality assurance.
  • Generate accurate bill of materials (BOMs) and maintain design documentation.
  • Perform design reviews and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
  • Maintain accurate design documentation and version control.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in CAD design.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 2025 CAD software.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in other CAD tools or analysis software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal design, weldments, and plastic part design.
  • Experience in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and BOM generation.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
