Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Solution Architect for a full-time position based in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions, playing a pivotal role in our organization's digital transformation. The role requires leveraging a deep understanding of cloud architecture to enhance and streamline our cloud offerings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud architecture, Azure Cloud, and IaaS (Mandatory skill) with a strong track record of successful architecture deployments.
  • In-depth proficiency in cloud computing concepts and experience with infrastructure as a service (IaaS) architectures.
  • Proven experience with platform as a service (PaaS) offerings, focusing on optimizing application development and delivery.
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of Azure cloud technologies, essential for developing and deploying solutions efficiently.
  • Ability to create robust architecture frameworks that ensure scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the capability to quickly diagnose complex cloud-related issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey cloud technology concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to lead cloud projects, guiding technical teams and ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and robust cloud solutions tailored to customer needs and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive cloud solution projects from design through implementation and maintenance phases.
  • Evaluate existing cloud infrastructure and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and security.
  • Deliver expert guidance and act as a subject matter expert on cloud platforms, ensuring effective use of cloud technologies.
  • Develop and enforce cloud best practices and standards, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Mentor and train team members to build internal expertise and drive a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Oversee cloud deployment processes, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and optimizing system performance.
  • Continuously research and integrate emerging cloud technologies to keep Jio at the forefront of the industry.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud technologies and services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Experience with Azure Stack HCI and hyper-converged infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications in Azure cloud technologies are a plus.
