Unit Finance Head

Position purpose
: Manage accounting sub-function at local level

Main internal relations:

Plant Supply Chain Team, Procurement, Production, Maintenance, Enabling functions

Main external relations

Banks, External Auditors, Insurance Company, Statutory Authorities

Key competencies :

Sound knowledge of Accounting Standard and Policies Bank Reconciliation

Management of Suppliers

Project Accounting

Good in Advance Excel.

Academic Profile: MBA in Finance, CA inter

Desired Experience: Min 10+ Years

Key Accountabilities:

Finance & Accounts

• Ensuring the Proper Accounting in adherence with the Accounting Standard and Policies.
• Compliances of direct & indirect taxes
• Monitoring Capital Work in Progress – its capitalization to Fixed asset
• Ageing review of Accounts receivables & payables
• Payment processing for vendors
• Validation of Invoices of Capex and Other items and Ledger Scrutiny
• Preparation of reconciliation of stock books vs production stock report
• Handling audit requirements – Statutory and Internal Audit
• Inter departmental Communication
• Day to Day coordination with HO and Supply Chain Functions in Unit for arrangement and disbursement of fund.
• Disbursement of Various Expenses Payment from Unit confirming the all compliance and due diligence.

Decision Support System

• Preparation of Various MIS like Stock and Debtors Statement, Daily Bank Report, Maize Outstanding Report.
• Preparation of MIS for tracking Budget v/s Actual
• Monthly Capex Spent Report, Bank Report for Fund Utilization and Investment Detail.
• Fund Utilization Report for POB/PIB Project.
• Verification of New Vendor Code in ERP before Releasing for Transaction.

Subject Matter Expert

• Preparation of Financial statement
• Analysis of financials
• Responsible for Statutory Audit and Internal Audit for related areas.
• Continuous support to other Team Members in their day to day work.
• Preparation of other various reports and information as per the Business Requirement.
