Summary

A Civil Engineer Overseas construction projects On-Site, Ensuring the design specifications, coordinating the construction activities, managing resources, ensuring quality control and safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence

to project plans and specifications.

  • Implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring that

work meets specified standards

  • Enforcing safety regulations, conducting safety checks, and promoting a safe working environment
  • Providing technical expertise, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring that construction

work is performed according to engineering principles

  • Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders
  • Preparing and submitting progress reports, documenting site activities, and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors,

subcontractors, and suppliers.

  • Effectively communicating with all project participants, providing updates, and

addressing concerns.

  • Planning of materials, coordinate with the procurement team, delivery of materials, and
  • processing of material supply bills on time. Certify the contractor bills as per actual work done and work order terms.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Master's degree in civil engineering.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in civil engineering with a minimum of 3 years in a project management role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods.
  • A strong background in civil engineering principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential.
  • Expert in collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure development, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to upholding environmental standards.
  • Proficient in civil engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
