Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Article Trainee, located in Kolkata. The Article Trainee will be responsible for assisting in audits, preparing financial statements, conducting tax research and compliance, bookkeeping, and supporting other accounting functions. The trainee will work closely with senior accountants and auditors, gaining practical experience and knowledge in various fields of accounting and auditing.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Ability to conduct research and comply with tax regulations
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
