What You'll Do

Build and Lead the Future Design, engineer, and enhance enterprise-grade .NET 68 and Azure cloud applications. You will take ownership of critical modules, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability across distributed systems.

Collaborate and Influence

Partner closely with Architects, Technical Leads, DevOps engineers, UI/UX teams, and global stakeholders. As a senior team member, you will mentor developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive engineering best practices.

Elevate Engineering Excellence

Champion Clean Code, domain-driven design concepts, and cloud-native patterns. Utilise modern DevOps tooling, AI-assisted workflows, and code-quality frameworks like SonarQube to enforce engineering standards and secure coding practices.

Lead in an Agile Environment

Operate within Agile SCRUM/SAFe environments, providing technical clarity, estimating complexity, de-risking solutions, and contributing to high-quality incremental delivery.

What You Bring to the Table

Advanced Development Skills

  • Practical experience in .NET and Azure cloud–based application development
  • Strong command of C#, .NET Core, and .NET 6–8 for building scalable server-side APIs and microservices
  • Extensive experience with Entity Framework Core, ORM patterns, and data modelling
  • Deep understanding of authentication and authorisation using Keycloak/JWT, OAuth2, and role-based access control
  • Ability to design and implement secure, robust integration across cloud services

Platform & API Engineering Skills (Azure-Focused)

  • Strong proficiency in asynchronous programming, concurrency, and performance optimisation.
  • Well-versed with Swagger/OpenAPI and API versioning for maintainable API ecosystems.
  • Solid working knowledge of Azure Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage Accounts, and identity/secrets management
  • Experience designing distributed, resilient API contracts for enterprise systems

Unit Testing, Observability & Logging

  • Proficient in structured logging, cloud logging frameworks.
  • Skilled in unit testing and automated testing.
  • Practical experience implementing observability, telemetry, and diagnostics in Azure-based services.
  • Ability to leverage the latest .NET runtime capabilities to deliver clean, reliable, and future-ready code

Cloud & DevOps Expertise

  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Experience integrating applications with Azure Entra ID, Key Vault, Storage, and other PaaS components
  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker), distributed caching (Redis), and microservices design fundamentals
  • Understanding of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
  • Experience with Git-based workflows, branching strategies, and reviewing complex pull requests

Clean Code Advocate

  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Strong familiarity with code-quality tools such as SonarQube
  • Ability to mentor team members on best practices and engineering standards

Collaboration & Communication

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi-cultural, cross-functional global teams
  • Clear communication and a proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement
