Job Descritpion of SAP BASIS - HANA Consultant

6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Administrator with strong expertise in managing SAP landscapes running under RISE with SAP. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP BTP, cloud infrastructure, and BASIS administration tasks, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing SAP environments.

Roles & Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities

  • Support and administer SAP systems under RISE with SAP (Business Transformation as a Service).
  • Collaborate with SAP and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) for environment provisioning, scaling, and issue resolution.
  • Perform system refreshes, backups, monitoring, and performance tuning for SAP systems.
  • Configure and monitor SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Router, Web Dispatcher, and Fiori Launchpad.
  • Support SAP upgrades, patching, and kernel maintenance in RISE environments.
  • Implement and maintain transport routes and troubleshoot transport-related issues.
  • Ensure system security, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Work with functional and technical teams to resolve BASIS-related issues.
  • Coordinate with SAP OSS support for incident and issue resolution.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with RISE with SAP.
  • 2+ years of experience with SAP BTP.
  • Strong experience with HANA Database, SAP S/4HANA, and NetWeaver technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SAP-hosted environments.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, and cloud integration tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Desirable Skills

  • SAP Certifications (Basis, HANA, or Cloud).
  • Experience with automation tools for system monitoring and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices in SAP environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
