Chartered Accountant (Audit, Compliance & Taxation)

Location: Jayanagar, Bengaluru

Job Type: Full-time | On-site

Experience: 3–6 years (post-qualification)

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong expertise in

audit, taxation, and statutory compliance, ideally gained within a CA firm

environment. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to trust clients, NGOs, or

charitable organisations, with a sound understanding of financial reporting, audits,

and tax compliance.

This position requires a hands-on professional who can independently manage

multiple clients, lead assignments, and ensure full compliance with statutory

regulations.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead and manage statutory, internal, tax, and trust audits from planning to

closure.

 Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other

regulatory filings.

 Prepare and finalise financial statements, including trust-specific accounts and

disclosures.

 Handle tax assessments, refund claims, and regulatory correspondence

efficiently.

 Conduct trust audits under relevant statutes and ensure adherence to

applicable guidelines.

 Manage ledger scrutiny, month-end closings, MIS, and variance analysis.

 Review and strengthen internal controls and compliance frameworks.

 Prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports for top management

review.

 Stay updated with changes in the Income Tax Act, Companies Act, Trust Act,

and other relevant regulations.

Supervise, guide, and review work done by junior accountants and articled

assistants.

 Liaise with clients, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities as

required.

Requirements

 Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–6 years of relevant experience in

a CA firm.

 Proven expertise in audit, direct & indirect taxation, and statutory compliance.

 Strong working knowledge of Indian GAAP, Accounting Standards, and

Auditing Standards.

 Exposure to trust accounting, compliance, and reporting preferred.

 Proficient in Tally, Zoho Books, MS Excel, and other accounting/taxation tools.

 Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

 Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualities

 Experience handling trusts, NGOs, or charitable institutions.

 Familiarity with Company Law, ROC filings, and FEMA-related compliance.

 Client-focused mindset with high integrity and attention to detail.

 Ability to work independently while leading a small team.
