Job Details:

Project: Execution of Safety Fencing and UG Cable Laying Works

Location: South Eastern Central Railway Jurisdiction

Department: Field Execution / Operations

Reporting To: Project Engineer / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily execution of UG Cable laying works along the railway track.

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and technical specifications.

  • Manage and monitor trenching, duct laying, cable pulling, jointing, and backfilling works.

  • Coordinate with Railway officials for site permissions, ROW clearance, and inspection.

  • Maintain daily site reports, labor deployment sheets, and material usage logs.

  • Verify alignment and levels as per drawings using standard surveying tools.

  • Support testing and documentation for cable continuity and fencing completion.

  • Resolve minor technical/site issues and ensure work progress as per target.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma / ITI in Civil or Electrical / Electronics discipline.

  • 2–5 years of site experience in Railway / Telecom / Infrastructure projects.

  • Knowledge of UG laying, jointing, and civil trench work preferred.

  • Strong team management and communication skills.

  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, Email).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
