Title : PL/SQL Developer

• Location: Mumbai

6 to 8 Years Experienced : 1 Resource

4 to 5 Years Experienced : 2 Resource

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Database Development and Maintenance: Designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle databases, including tables, indexes, views, and other database objects.
• PL/SQL Programming: Writing, testing, and optimizing complex PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers, to support business applications and data processing.
• Performance Tuning: Analyzing and optimizing SQL queries and PL/SQL code for improved performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Identifying, investigating, and resolving database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data integrity problems. Providing production support for existing applications.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation for database designs, PL/SQL code, and other relevant processes.
• Collaboration: Working closely with business analysts, application developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective database solutions.
• Adherence to Standards: Ensuring compliance with database security policies, coding standards, and best practices.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong PL/SQL Expertise: In-depth knowledge of PL/SQL programming concepts, including

cursors, triggers, stored procedures, packages, and exception handling.

• Oracle Database Proficiency: Experience with Oracle database versions (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c),

including database administration tasks, SQL, and performance tuning.

• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of financial services domain, including banking, lending, and other relevant financial processes, is highly beneficial.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and business users.
• Experience with Tools: Familiarity with database development tools like SQL Developer, Toad, or similar.
• Optional but advantageous: Experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful webservices, MongoDB, or Apache Kafka, especially if working on integrated systems.
• Educational Background: Typically a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
