2D Draftsman

Job Title: 2D Draftsman – Commercial Interiors & Architecture

Location: Kadavanthra

Job Type: Full Time

Experience: Minimum 2-4 years in interior or architectural drafting

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate 2D drawings for commercial interior and architectural projects using AutoCAD or similar software
• Interpret design sketches and convert them into working drawings and layout plans
• Create detailed interior drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, site engineers, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy
• Revise drawings based on feedback from consultants, clients, and internal teams
• Maintain drawing documentation, revision records, and file organization
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, building codes, and project specifications
• Assist in preparing drawings for statutory approvals and as-built documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential), MS Office; knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is a plus
• Strong knowledge of detailing for commercial interiors (e.g., office spaces, retail, hospitality)
• Ability to read and understand architectural and interior design drawings
• Attention to detail, good visualization skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of local construction methods, materials, and regulations is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹22,000.00 per month
