Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable PGT Humanities Teacher who has prior experience teaching in reputed UPSC coaching institutes or equivalent academic settings. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Humanities subjects such as History, Political Science, Geography, and Current Affairs, along with the ability to mentor students preparing for competitive and academic examinations.

As this is a residential role, the selected candidate will be required to stay within the school campus.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Humanities subjects aligned with CBSE and UPSC-level standards.
  • Teach and mentor students to develop analytical thinking, conceptual clarity, and strong writing skills.
  • Integrate current events, national and international issues, and socio-political developments into classroom teaching.
  • Conduct regular assessments, tests, and provide detailed feedback to students.
  • Guide and motivate students aspiring for civil services and other competitive exams.
  • Participate in school academic planning, seminars, and workshops to enhance the learning environment.
  • Contribute actively to campus life and student mentoring programs.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Humanities subjects (History, Political Science, Geography, or related field) with B.Ed (mandatory).
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of teaching experience in reputed UPSC coaching institutes or senior secondary CBSE schools.
  • Strong subject command and ability to connect academic concepts with real-world applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to create an inspiring learning environment for students.
  • Must be ready to stay within the school campus (residential position).
