• Provide comprehensive medical care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Manage and monitor premature, critically ill, or low-birth-weight infants.
• Diagnose and treat newborns with breathing disorders, infections, and other life-threatening conditions.
• Perform neonatal procedures such as intubation, surfactant administration, and umbilical line insertion.
• Coordinate with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and other specialists for optimal neonatal care.
• Provide parental counseling and education regarding infant health, treatment, and prognosis.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records for all patients.
• Participate in neonatal transport and emergency resuscitation when required.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, ethical standards, and patient safety regulations.
• Contribute to training, mentoring, and continuing education programs for medical and nursing staff.

• • Education: MD / DNB / DM in Neonatology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• License: Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council.
• Experience: Minimum [2–5 years] of experience in a Level III NICU or tertiary care setup preferred.
