Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Textile Finishing Head
to lead CTA's finishing operations and ensure our products meet the highest standards of appearance, hand feel, durability, and compliance before shipment. This leadership role requires deep expertise in textile finishing processes, quality management, and global buyer expectations.

The Finishing Head will oversee all aspects of washing, dyeing, chemical finishing, shrinkage control, and final garment presentation. This role will collaborate closely with production, quality, merchandising, and sourcing teams to ensure timely delivery of export-quality garments that align with buyer standards and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the entire finishing department, including washing, dyeing, chemical treatment, and garment finishing operations.
• Define and implement best practices for shrinkage control, dimensional stability, colorfastness, and hand feel.
• Establish finishing parameters and ensure consistency across batches and product categories.
• Collaborate with sourcing and production teams to test and validate finishing processes during product development.
• Drive innovations in sustainable finishing processes, including water conservation, chemical safety, and eco-friendly technologies.
• Liaise with buyers and auditors on finishing standards, compliance checks, and technical clarifications.
• Monitor machine performance and finishing equipment utilization, ensuring preventive maintenance and efficiency.
• Resolve production and finishing-related technical issues, reducing rejections and reprocessing.
• Ensure strict adherence to international quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Mentor and develop finishing teams, building technical capabilities and leadership pipelines.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, Apparel Production, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in garment/textile finishing, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong expertise in garment washing, chemical finishing, and shrinkage/hand feel management.
• In-depth knowledge of woven and knit fabric finishing for women's and kidswear.
• Experience with sustainable and eco-friendly finishing practices (low liquor ratio, ozone, enzyme, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to balance finishing excellence with cost optimization and sustainability targets.
