Investment Analyst & Portfolio Manager. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to both the in-depth research and strategic decision-making processes within our investment function. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in financial analysis, a keen understanding of investment principles, and the ability to translate research insights into actionable portfolio recommendations.

Responsibilities:

Investment Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth fundamental research and analysis on companies, industries, and macroeconomic factors to identify potential investment opportunities across various asset classes (e.g., equities, fixed income, alternatives).
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, including forecasting, valuation (DCF, multiples, etc.), and sensitivity analysis.
  • Analyze financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and industry trends to assess investment merits and risks.
  • Monitor market developments, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to identify potential impacts on investment portfolios.
  • Prepare detailed investment research reports, presentations, and recommendations for portfolio managers and investment committees.
  • Evaluate the financial health and management quality of potential investment targets through due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
  • Stay abreast of current market trends, new investment strategies, and evolving financial instruments.
  • Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio managers to share research insights and contribute to the overall investment strategy.

Portfolio Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of investment strategies aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, and investment policies.
  • Contribute to asset allocation decisions across different portfolios.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify deviations from targets, and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Analyze portfolio risk characteristics and propose strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Execute trades efficiently and accurately in accordance with portfolio guidelines.
  • Prepare portfolio performance reports and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal investment policies.
  • Participate in investment committee meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
  • Stay informed about portfolio management best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications:

  • MBA / CA / CFA / BA Economics
  • 1 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, equity research, or portfolio management.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and valuation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling using tools such as Microsoft Excel.
