Metyis is growing We are looking for a Data Science Lead, specialised in Generative Artificial Intelligence, with 6 - 8 years of experience, to join our Data and Analytics team based in Bangalore.

What you will do

  • Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of generative AI solutions across multiple business domains.

  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts and associates, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.

  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of AI initiatives with strategic goals.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and guide the organization's generative AI roadmap.

  • Present complex AI concepts and results to executive leadership and clients in a compelling and business-relevant manner.

What you'll bring

  • 6 to 8 years of professional work experience

  • Over 3 years of working experience in AI

  • Extensive experience in developing and leading generative AI projects from concept to deployment.

  • Expert-level knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI methodologies.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in Python and advanced AI tools and platforms.

  • Deep familiarity with cloud infrastructure, MLOps, and scalable AI systems.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align AI initiatives with business objectives.

  • Good to have:

    • Experience in a leadership role within a consulting or enterprise environment.

    • Recognized thought leadership through publications, speaking engagements, or open-source contributions.
